Front & Rear Aircon Servicing.
I discovered yesterday that my AC has packed in. I run it throughout the year so I'm hoping it's just needs a re-gas rather than anything more serious. Fair enough after 4 years!
My friends garage has all the latest kit for AC servicing, but are Saab specialists and will almost certainly not have done the AC on a D3.
As my HSE has front & rear AC, is there anything that they'd need to know that is specific/unique to the D3 or it is just obvious?
Thanks.

Make sure they do a leak test first as the front to rear pipes have a habit of corroding and you lose all the refrigerent, mines a 54 plate and I had the have mine replaced last year.
The front to rear pipes run on the outside of the car above the air suspension compressor.

As Lee said. Front to rear pipes fracture, meaning you loose all the gas. Do a re-gas and see if any leaks are present.

Thanks everyone.
They'll do a leak test & I have a nasty feeling they might find one as the system doesn't work at all. Been driving with the sun roof & windows open the last couple of days.

There was leak, just behind the n/s front wheel arch. Looks as if the pipes have chaffed against a clamp that holds them in place. Not that impressive for a vehicle that's only just 4 years old.
