Front Mud Flaps
Sorry if this has been asked before,
Nearly every time I go off road/ greenlaning I manage to split at least one of the front mudflaps( Landrover's fantastic design), as i've just done the 3rd set I was wondering if there any other alternative Landrover flap that has been fitted, I know that i've seen a thread on rear ones off a Defender , and they can be made to fit and they looked What about the front?

I think a few of the guys opn here have modified some flexible ones from series land rovers - have a search.
I also know that Gary from GNVP was indicating that they would manufacture something.
I am in the same position - I now have no front flaps (that's not something I say too often )
I would like some flexible flaps front and rear (that is something I think about too often!)D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Can someone post a picture of an LR3 with both front and rear flaps? Not sure I want to install them yet given how bulky they look Cheers.

Thanks for the pictures guys, they do not look too bad, the rears actually look better than the front, shame that they would look odd without the fronts. May I ask why the heck are they so expensive? What make them so special other that the fact that they are branded LR?

My front and rears are made from some rubber sheets (may have been part of a conveyor belt)...
These were cut into shape and fitted using existing and some new new holes.
There's quite alot of folk who have home made ones.nil admirari
I think it was the discovery1 mud flaps that have been used on the front then the defender ones on the back. thats the route i was thinking of going. Will be able to pick them up pretty cheaply from most places.Filming something somewhere...

These look very nice and functional. We do not have much rain here, and neither do we expect to do any seriouls off roading, so I guess I will go OEM this time and see how long they last. If they do not, I will consider the cheaper and more functional option.
