Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Thumbs Up

Just get them and read instructions, really nothing to fear, no drilling.

Rear ones are a bit mor of a fiddle but still not worth losing sleep over.
What if the "Hokey Cokey" really is what it's all about?

Yep no drilling, push fit 2 clips and attach the guards with small grub screws. Takes about 5 mins per side.

The link to the instructions does work but you have to accept the cookies, there is a button, I think it is on the lower bottom right of the screen. I downloaded an printed two days ago.

I've just fitted front light guards this afternoon. Took less than an hour.

For info: the grill panel is held in place by 5 squeeze clips. Three along the top and two in the bottom gap in the grill. Squeeze and release and ease them out and the whole panel comes out easy as wink.

The brackets for holding the guards in place looked like they were in danger of rubbing the paint where they wrap around the wing edge so I padded them out with double sided tape.

As others have said, an easy job with minimal tools (posidrive screwdriver and allen key).

Next job is the A Frame but only after I fabricate the brackets which LR handily do not supply as part of the fitting kit. Without them, it can't be fitted!!! I have taken advice from "The Large One" on this and self help seems the only answer.

Light Guards

I recently shopped around for a set of front and rear light guards and stumbled across Nick's (The Large One) Yeovil Land Rover EBlag site. Front and rear pairs were for sale separately but combined front and rear pairs were also available at about £120 + postage. I've just looked (13/12/07) and there are guards for sale but not the combined set which is the cheapest option. If you are not in a hurry, I would suggest that you keep watching the site or give Nick a ring

Light Guards

Not on the occasion when I rang - I got a quote on light guards and mudflaps but didn't immediately buy over the phone because I was bidding on a new set of front and rear mudflaps being auctioned by a D3 owner on EBlag. Whilst waiting for the EBlag auction to finish, I was searching around and by chance stumbled across the Yeovil Land Rover EBlag site where I found front and rear light guards on Buy it Now for considerably less than the telephone quote. Additionally the postage was cheaper than I'd been quoted over the phone. I won the mudflap auctions and rang Nick to say I was buying the light guards from Yeovil's EBlag shop and expressed disappointment that he hadn't pointed me in the direction of their EBlag shop for the best prices on the items I wanted.

I'm sure Nick won't mind me saying this as it's what actually happened and I'm only sharing this as my own personal experience.
