Front LED's on GS
Hi, I've just notice the front LED's around the headlights are not working but I'm pretty sure they were working a couple of weeks ago when I first bought the car (59 reg GS). Can anyone clarify exactly when the LED's should be on and if there is anything obvious I should check.

I haven't as I just bought it but maybe the previous owner did, I'm not sure. Is there an easy way to tell? (and what is the significance of xenons). Thanks.

The LED lights are only available with Xenons. If you look closely at the lights you will see if the LEDs are actually there and not just a hole where they should be. Standard halogen lights have a yellow tint were as Xenons are a bluey white. Hope this helps.Club Exped trailer

Just checked - they are definitely there so must have Xenons. I am 99% sure they did work when I collected the car a couple of weeks ago because we were looking at them. Any ideas what would cause them all to stop working (other lamps working fine). Also, when should they be on (with side lights, dipped main, full main etc.)?

They should be on when you select side lights or dipped. I've no idea why they could have stopped working. You should be able to see small yellow squares in the holes around the main lamp.Club Exped trailer

When I put on just the side lights I only get the bottom corner ones on. I'm assuming I should be getting these ones and the LED's?

I have seen them working when I first got the car (my girlfriend even remembers looking at the reflection of them in the car infront when we were in traffic). They are there ok just not coming on.
(Since writing this I am doubting myself so appologies if I am wrong !)

If you have the bottom corner ones then i doubt you have the leds as its one or the otherClub Forum Criminal !!!

You don't have both sidelights and LEDs ... Only one or the other
You won't have LEDs on an GSG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I'm beginning to think you are right, I must be loosing the plot. Here is a picture with just sidelights on.
Still looks like there are bulbs in there to me though.
