Front headlights
First post on here so firstly Hi to you all. I've been lurking for long enough so thought it about time to introduce myself
Front headlights both gone within a few hours of each other on ma landie so need to get new bulbs. Those great guys at Frank Ogg ( ) sorted me oot with some upgraded bulbs as couldn't afford the xenon's Question is what is best to go for as I cannae mind what they gave me?
Also, are these ok to fit yerself? Bear in mind I'm a feel loon with nae idea aboot mechanics....

And I thought God knew everything
People are saying the Phillips are good. I got the Nightbreaker from Osram - they are very good - but I could not tell the difference between them and the Halfords 50% brighter bulbs, which were also about 50% less in price!

I have the Philips Extremes and they are bright! Get flashed at quite a bit as they appear to be pointing up but there is no adjustment I can see, might be wrong though.Club Exped trailer

I fitted the Halfords 50% brighter bulbs and they were better than standard LR fit. I too got flashed and my offside bill seemed to point up a little. I fiddled around with a couple of what appear to be beam level adjusters and the light loom appeared to drop down. haven't been flashed since so must have had some effect.

I thought the Xenon bulbs were covered under warranty.
Didn't think you could replace a Xenon with a non Xenon as the headlight units are designed to focus the Xenon's light differently to that of a halogen or other.

Think he means he can't afford to upgrade to Xenons hence going for uprated halogen bulbs 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Depends how you read it CFB. Looks like he had some others instead of his Xenon's that would be a few hundreds to replace.
Thanks for the very pleasant.
