I am just about to upgrade my D3 with the full front end D4, will i have to change the light sockets for the new LED lights or are they the same fitting? any tips would be great as I'm doing this at the weekend

You can post wanted ads all day long no matter how many posts, it's just for sale ones the moderators get annoyed about till you make enough posts, but if you contact the moderators First then they are more than happy to let you post, as long as you informed moderators first.
£35 for front pass side, may be able to get other side, equivalent have one on an auction site but by the time you add postage you are as well contacting the large one through this site, he does a 20% disc

O5 plate SE , xenons as standard, replaced with 2010 d4 lights works straight of light switch with no warning lights on dash, led lights the lot works, to me that is plug and play.
SO WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM
Did yours not work right away,or did you have to add wires on for cornering lights, and get adaptive switched of. There must have been something to cause your earlier rant

Headlights Plug and play like i said, take note geoff
dash switch, plus the ecu that takes the front and rear wiring, probably will need looms as well, dont know if they are already in situ, and maybe enabling with faultmate. No doubt someone will be along soon to let you know what needs done. have done a freelander 2 one but that already had rear sensors installed.
