On discovery 4 When turning steering wheel to nearly full lock drive forward or reverse feels like wheel kicking and there’s a grating noise brand new drive shaft already fitted was thinking front differential is there any way of checking advice needed
Also no noise when driving in straight line only happen when turning steering wheel close to full lock

have you checked the tracking? My nippers Clio sounded similar when pulling on & off the drive. Tracking was way out. Didnt do it after tracking was done correctly

have you tried re-calibrating the center Diff, as that will give same symptoms Si
