Front diff replacement
Hi everyone
A little advice please .... my front diff on my 2005 2.7TD Disco 3 is shot! At least it is chucking masses of oil out after refilling and at least one of the bearing sounds mashed.
Where would you recommend to source a recon diff please? I dont have the skills or tools to take on a rebuild myself sadly.
I am seeing a number of companies offering recon diffs for about £460 inc Vat.
Any advice or pointers would be most appreciated please!
Thanks to all
Rob

I used Winchester Gears for a front diff, absolutely no issues and they are good folk there.
Had a recon diff from another outfit that used to come recommended on here, it failed within the warranty period (barely squeaked past 10k miles) and they weren’t interested in the slightest about putting it right.
