During the recent Salisbury weekend (still brings out the permagrin when I think about it) I lost my front license plate in the mud.
Getting a new one was quite a hassle here in Holland, lots of paperwork with the accompanying fees.
The old plate (and the black plastic bit it was mounted on) were only held by 5 lousy parkers in the plastic of the front bumper, which got ripped out easily. For the next plate I want to use something better: a couple of bolts and a metal plate behind the bumper to ensure the plate will only come off if it takes the entire bumper with it
Can anyone tell me how to remove the front bumper? When I remove the grille I can see a row of screws on top of the bumper, and I assume that there is a similar row on the bottom (behind my mantec plate)? But it seems that the black bits that hold the foglights are also part of the bumper, are there any screws there too?
