Front brake pads

Hi guys,

I’ve bought a set of new, genuine v8 discs on eBay for £20 to do the big brake conversion. I’m going to order the v8 carriers from AF but wondered which pads people recommend please.

My last set were all brembo and was neither here nor there regarding performance.

I use the Terafirma ceramic pads and think they are great good performance and no brake dust on the wheels us an added bonus Andrew

D3 2.7tdv6 2005
D4 3.0 SDV6 Commercial died and gone to LR heaven
D5 3.0 SDV6 HSE

Used Meyle pads from advanced factors along with Meyle discs, great braking but the brake dust is extreme, its wrecking my front wheels

You will notice an improvement particularly in pad and disc life, but they will never be as good as a D4. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I have over 35,000 miles on my Akebono Euro Ceramic (US V8 HSE)

. . . and I swear it looks like %60+ life is still left on them - and virtually no brake dust!

Definitely buying again next time Doug
