2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Java Black

Front Aux Connection

I read on the forum somewhere that there’s an Aux connection under the nearside footwell cover behind the bonnet catch.
Is that an Aux socket as I can’t see one?
Any clues, much appreciated Mick

I thought it was (relatively) easy to create an aux connection there but didn't think it was already there.

someone more knowledgeable may be along shortly to tell you I'm wrong.

Its not an AUX connection but there are red/blue and black wire there that can be tapped into to use for a front aux conn.

There is a thread here somehwere, standby

There isnt one in the front.
Only location is between the front sears facing the 2nd row.
BUT - that socket there flow under the carpets and has a connector in the footwell.
Technically you can disconnect that connector and make up your own cable - but IMO its a pain in the ass to do.
It might be easier to disconnect where it plugs into the back of the radio, and make a custom cable from there. Pre-Production

2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Auto Java Black

Indeed ref an aux socket , fitted one in the centre console , alas was a little time consuming

Also bought an aux loom that plugged straight into the back of the radio , mines a base model so don’t know if the radio is different in the SE model
