| [Free] Kenwood chef utensils. |

Our 40 yr old Kenwood chef machine has just expired.
We have a coffee grinder, mincer and slicer/shredder attachments plus K hook/whisk and bowl, if they are of any use to anybody.
Otherwise it is charity shop/tip.
Collect Chester area or postage cost only.

Have you any idea of the model number
I've just refurbished my mother in laws Kenwood 701a machine (she bought with her first wage) as one of the gears has disintegrated and the feet were well passed it.
As spares were readily available I managed to get it up and running for less than £20.
If the attachments would fit I'd happily relieve you of them

Hi I'd very very interested in the Coffee grinder.
We have a number of 901 / 701 that i've refurbed over the years & would love to add that to the collection

It was the intermediate gear that had disintegrated
Cant really moan it was about 50 years old.
Bought a set of the 3 gears as spares
She only has the mixing attachment but wouldnt use the coffee grinder attachment

Much to the missus disgust i can't help myself if I see one at a car boot or on Gumtree for a tenner. If you service the gearbox motor caps & speed controller they are bomb proof I just love the design.
Still trying to track down the holy grail of a 700 series.
Best advise I can give is always ensure the feet are good, these are usually the first to go & that cuts the airflow to the motor, then the caps go, usually in a dramatic burning/ fire smoking kinda way but still salvageable.
Loft full of Kenwoods & Petromax type pressure lanterns, still keeps me out of mischief!

Presuming Searaider doesn't want the coffee grinder, if you could let me know the postage cost I'll get that sent to you and also drop a donation to the forum.
Also, I'd be interested in the auxiliary drive cap from the 901 if you're going to dispose of it. The smaller piece with the red dot rather than the larger cover for the liquidizer drive.

Nightmare!
In short, some do, most don't. They changed the slot on the front outlet from the A701a to A901. I have a feeling the rear outlet for the liquidizer is different too, the height of the spline is for the rear drive is different. I'm not sure on the top outlet with the thread & slot.
The tools that fit the planet gear are interchangeable for the A701A & A901 but not the earlier A701. The K mixer, balloon whisk, dough hook etc should all be compatible.
Sorry I can't help more without seeing the accessories
