United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Manual Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3
Fragile upholstery

Just wondered whether anyone found standard fabric seats wear easily. I have a habit of slinging my bulging laptop bag in the gap in the gap behind drivers seat and there's lots of loose stuff around the seams. As its warranty is up in a week or so I suggested to my wife might be worth a claim and she gave me a very funny look?

In fact I think mine (30/11/04)is a bit fragile all round cos I've never known paintwork on any car (Zambesi silver) scratch so easily

England 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3

I have the same problem on both counts, drivers seat looks like it has been combed with a wire brush, I presume it caused by velcro fastenings on trouser pockets and contents of said pockets. Java Black paint work is littered with white scratches from next to no contact with anything.
