Spoke to BigDave and he can sort shipping
looks like its in Melbourne ....we could do with someone out there who could maybe pick the stuff up ( we would pay on line to the supplier )
Once in one place then we could arrange shipping ...sounds like it may work .
we may even get a bit more discount for a group buy of sugar gliders G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I've thought about doing the same thing. My best mate lives in Adelaide and has offered to pick kit up but it's not worth it on my own. Would be very interested about container share etc.

To answer Wiggs post they are pretty good prices but I would look to get a review from someone in Oz on this one
As there are a load of Chinese copies flooding the market

Declared interest, we sell both Foxwings and Oztents. We get offers of supplies of awnings/tents/roof tents/led light bars from China several times a week.
Some questions I would be asking is about quality, spares, duty rates, shipping costs etc.
At least with Foxwings and Oztents you do have the reassurance about the quality, UK backup and availability of spares. Then what about warranty claims?
Continers, now how many sugar gliders are you going to be able to fit in a container. Then who is going o pay for the duty and VAT so that the container can be released? Alternative is to use someone else's HMRC VAT account. That normally costs extra. If container is not cleared within about 2 days expect more bills. Then have the container moved to a 'depot' and how long do you have to empty it before hte £ sign starts rolling again
Good luck with it!

Sorry DCM, YES sometimes I do need a prod (read kick up butt). You will shortly have a pm.
The CHEAPEST way of importing things from places like Australia is if someone is returning to the UK and the 'company' is paying for the container of household goods to be sent back. That way no carriage costs, no duty or VAT etc not 100% kosher. Have know it done
