fox wing / batwing questions

am changing my set up and going for a new awning.

does a batwing awning have to opened all the way round?

Presume it does, which is why I'm currently aiming for this

Have never only partially opened a Foxwing or Batwing.

If I was going to open out the first two panels only then I would want panels 3 and 4 strapped together and to panel 2. Panel 2 pole would need guying down. Remember the fabric from panel 3 and 4 would tend to hang downwards.

Also looking at the Bat Wing. Will it attach to an Oztent RV4. If it does will It fit to both the standard and compact versions.

Andy the Batwing panel size and zip arrangement is the same as the Foxwing.

So if it fits to a Foxwing it will fit to a Batwing.

The zip size on both Batwing and Foxwings is 2.6 m which is the width of a RV5.

The RV4 is 2.4 m wide so will be slightly short on the zip but will work.

If you are close to West Yorkshire you will be welcome to come and look at the Batwing and Oztent.
