Not to detract from the serious point that it is bad driving that is dangerous, not the vehicle used. All the crap about, "ah, but if they are a bad driver in a 4x4 more kittens will be killed than if they are a bad driver in a tiny Nissan town car" is smoke and mirrors. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

A dangerous road....
I believe that "dangerous road" is the one that results when freedom is exercised without consideration of one's responsibilities. I also cling to the outdated notion that driving is a privilege, rather than a right, and various driving choices people make do have varying degrees of merit. "Worthy" is not a word I used nor is it appropriate. However, I do suggest there is a difference between satisfying one's "needs" and fulfilling all and sundry of one's frivolous "wants " to the detriment of those around you. Choosing a 2+ ton 4x4, with all its compromises in terms of on-road use (efficiency, safety etc), mainly as a fashion accessory is clearly not a responsible way to excercise one's freedom.
