Hi, my friends D4 14 plate, Lux has had the gear box go into safe mode, and its been with an independent for 2 weeks now who apparently are struggling to find the issue. suspected ECU communication issues.
They are saying they will need to do a complete loom/wire trace to locate the problem.
has anyone on here had any similar issues / experience and have any other advice ??

have a look at the ecu's under the battery box see if there wet and check the batt for condition (but i would expect any good indi to have been there and checked first so may be no help to your friend ) please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou
