When are you putting in the frosted windows, and fitting the polished stainless steel sides...
Next you'll start yearning for a pick up transit and gazing longingly at old nags tied at the roadside...

If you like the great outdoors you'll love it
I do, but I prefer a wood, a tent or bivvy and a proper fire. This is a compromise so I can still go out and about, but keeps the wife happier as she can have a proper bed!
I have to say, there are times when I'm sure I'll be grateful for the heater and the comfortable bed!
Still have a proper fire we do use the base for the tripod BBQ and a stck of logs MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

You will love it Bodsy, it sounds like a nice van.
I always take all my camping gear in mine- fire pit, lantern, jetboil etc, and live in the awning. Nothing better than sitting in your camping chair in the awning, with the panel zipped out, fire pit outside, beer in hand, watching the sun go down. 8)

If, as you say the 'van is 2005 then the tyres will be nearly 8 years old, if not older. However caravan manufacturers do not always keep an eye on the date of the tyres. I once had a 1983 caravan , from new, but found out that the tyres were 1979. They both blew out within 600 miles of one another. Fortunately only a few miles from home when the 2nd one went.
