Folding mirrors retrofit?

Ok its raining out the d3 is in the shop and I'm bored. I got reading on a topic about puddle lights and folding mirrors were brought up. I guess we dont get them over here but if I could find a cheap set on ebay does anyone know if its an easy retrofit? Is the wiring allready there? I know if I got RHD spec mirrors I'd have to swap the glass around. In the short time I've owned the d3 Ive found that some one had bumped in to them and knocked them around the wrong way a few times.
