Fog light bulbs
Has anyone uprated their fog light bulbs? The existing ones seem little better than useless, especially when compared with the standard headlights. eBay has some H11 8500K xenon 100w (yes, I know you should not use 100w bulbs on the road) but....

Ken i put 80 watts in the headlamps and they just shut down till i put the originals back, so maybe it will be the same for the fogs due to the extra current draw so i wouldnt waste ya money. Why not get the same wattage but go for the blue tint ones they are a lot brighter light i use them on the fogs on my truck they are better and look good especially if you have Xenon headlamps and are nearly a colour match . Yes, That's what I thought may be the problem. I fitted uprated bulbs to an early TD5, but that was in the days before everything was monitored by computers!
