| Flashing Drive Indicator? |

I pulled up at some traffic lights this morning and the stop start kicked in so I cancelled stop start. Then I noticed the D for Drive in the display between the rev counter and the speedometer was flashing. Looking at the rotary selector the D there was also flashing.
I moved it into park and then back to drive and all was normal.
Any ideas as to what had happened? Better to be late in this world than early in the next.
