| Fitting a parrot ck 3100 hands free |

Wandering if anyone could give a bit of advice,
Tried to fit the ck3100 parrot hand free to my disc,
I purchased a CT10LR01 wiring harness to fit the parrot, all fitted but the parrot would not work.
Tried fitting it in my work van (Citroen dispatch) this did not need the extra wiring harness and the parrot works fine,
Purchased another wiring harness retried and still won't power up, 
Is there something I am missing
(Parrot also worked fine in my last car)

The disco does not have an ignition wire on the wiring loom.
If you trace the red and yellow wires on the CT10LR01 loom, when plugged into the disco, you will find one of them has no connection on the disco. This ignition wire needs connecting to the back of the cigar lighter/power sockets green wire.

was it red or yellow that needed connecting ?
