Nwoods, I am surprised that workd. You are radiating straight into the car ground plane. Your power will be diminished and SWR will be very high

hello hello
still looking how to fit my President JFK in the D3, i did try today to fit my D2 aerial base and guess what ?
yep, it doesnt fit that great, as it doesnt fit flush with the bonnet : BAD LOOK :
and this is how it holds in place, i wonder if is even going to work on the aluminum bonnet
anyone has an idea how to better things up please as i need to use it this upcoming week end
antenna is President "texas" so it need to be attached very well
