Dunc I have the "Fast Road" version but they do the off road version that does sit higher up and is easier to clean. Club Exped trailer

Ent, "im not trying to tell you your job or interfere" but,
When you fit the turbo while it has easy acsess i think it would be good to get your self a 3mm Ktype thermocouple into the turbo casing before the turbine housing while its off for measuring EGT/pre turbine temps.
Then if your feeling like it one after compressor in the pipe to the housing.
Ive probabaly got some spares if you need.
Pete
PS what company did your tuning again ? you did tell me at Billing but i forgot the company name you said.

I wouldn't mind you getting involved with the turbo install, I know you said they are a pain but it would be good to have your experience and input. ADS in Preston did the bespoke remap, tried 3 versions of it before sticking with the one I wanted.

Matt
give Dave Massey a bell on 01772 201597 and tell him you are on the D3 forum. He has my map saved so it should go in to yours with little to no modifying ad long as you have a very large intercooler from a certain manufacturer Club Exped trailer

Sounds col to me ENT, il sure help fitthe turbo no problems, id be very intrested in the outcome and tosee what more can be gained from a uprated one.
Ive no doubt that with the remap and the Allisport cooler the turbo will make things tick along much better.
Do you have any turbo specs ? PM is ok.
Will this turbo spin over 230000rpm safley ?

I don't know what a standard turbo spins to but I would hope the lads at Turbo Dynamics know what they are doing. I know someone with a Fabia VRS diesel that pumped at 220 bhp after a remap and a hybrid turbo. I'll give you a bell when I get back from Italy. Club Exped trailer

I have just had the same feedback from the bloke who's fitted mine. It isn't clear in the instructions that apparently you have to lift the rad to get the old one out and then the new one in.

No need to touch the rad just push the plastic dowels out either side of the intercooler and it drops out I can resist everything except TEMPTATION
