Fitting Adaptive headlights to non-adaptive?? |
|
Well I think I made a mistake. I found a smoking deal (or so I thought) for a set of xenons. They didnt say anything about beind adaptive but after doing some research on here on the part numbers XBC500442 and XBC500452 it seems as tho they might be adaptive ones.
Is there anyway to fit them to a d3 that dosent have adaptive? Or will I just have to plan on sticking them back on ebay?

As far as I can see after a bit of research. You can upgrade Halogen to Xenon. But you can't put adaptive into a car that didn't have them fitted at the factory.
But I'm sure somebody with a more definitive answer will come along shortly HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Unable to do i'm afraid
there's too many sensors and control units, plus wiring then if you get that done you would then need an engineering code from LR and that is ni on impossible TLO has left the building.......

Nope
Without any controlling motors the lights drop downwards, making them unusable. Best bet is to sell them on and buy non-adaptives. Oh, and check with us first next time Disco 5 HSE Lux

And even if you could get them to work they would flicker like fook anyway. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
