First time driving the Disco in the snow
Well it was my first time driving the Disco in the snow and wow it was great, I new it would be good but not this good.
Had to have a slight giggle seeing people sliding all over the place.
Done a few errands for people today and looking forward to helping out tomorrow where I can.

The Whole SE is covered, I was on the M2/A2 for 3.5hrs, managed to get off the slip at Gravesend and got cut up by a woman on the mobile. Had to stop, and took 30mins to gain traction Mercedes actros aint as good as a D3...
Hows you tyres John?, I guess they coped well. I took my D3 into work today, faultless drive and effortless especially as I left work before the school run

funny that, came out of swindon at 7.00am (3 inches overnight), then down A34/M3/M27/A27 to chicester (no snow), up A3 towards guildford heading in to camberley, yes light snow, then back round anti on the south side of M25 to A23 towards Croydon.......... got bleedin snowed in and had to take me tacho break in bus stop
What was worse was that the people at the other end had gone home early due to H&S (mid afternoon) and I was left not being paid for the aborted job

Was chatting with SWIMBO re tacho issues as a truck driver she was stuck behind was hoping he was going to be stuck long enough so that it was his break (it was I think) but what happens if a truck is stuck on the A9 (say), can't get off and cant park up, just moving slowly forward. ISTR that the tacho shuts down said truck driver's hours are exceeded by 30 mins!! Is this the case, not a great situation in these conditions??

Yes Mathew, really bad for the South there. It seems the A23/M23 has acted as a landmark area, East of them its bad and Not to venture out cos the roads are full of Loonies that seem to think more POWER stops a dancing BMW
No way out of Kent today except M26 which has No junctions for 18miles, M2/M20/M25 Dartford/Dartford Bridge and ALL surrounding areas are , Looking out my window is easily ok for my D3 but not a Actros..........so may be a SNOW DAY tomorrow, but will still have to get to work to find out
