first time disco3 owner
Hi all, bought my first ever Landrover this weekend. its an 06 disco3 2.7 tdv6 auto hse. It sups fuel for fun and is ridiculously big but I love it. Its a comfy and drives really smoothly and I'm probably too afraid to break if i go off road, so apologies to you guys for that.
Bought it on private auction not knowing what I was getting really, but 2 days in and the hand brake has started squealing , I have read that with it being an auto I can get away with not using it but with an mot looming I guess I need to fix it. Im based near skipton, currently working out of Newcastle. and was wondering if anyone knows of an indy mechanic they could recommend. Also would be interested in upgrading the bluetooth. Its a cracking thing I want to get her right so I can enjoy her. Appreciate any advice and tips, will surf this site for what I can manage myself but its limited down to tools available.
Thanks again
Steve

If you are lucky and catch it in time, you may be able to adjust the
EPB. Let it go too far and it will seize will cost you £600+ at an Indy
to get a new module fitted.
It's pretty easy and is explained in details in Bodsy's brale bible.

Hi Steve,
Are you looking for somewhere in Newcastle? I can put you in touch with the guy I used there for years when I lived there (my parents and sister still use him and have done for years). Superb Engineer with a great reputation.
Cheers
Paul
