First post....first test drive

Hi all, my first post here, been watching for a while. currently have a D3 on test for the afternoon. What an amazing piece of kit, so smooth, enough power to keep me happy and toys galour... I am coming from a pajero and this is just incredible, will be placing my order as soon as i get back to the dealer.
sorry for pointing out what you guys already know but i just am so impressed with it.
Bye for now.
Very Happy

ok back now, had to pop into work hence the post. been down a few lanes i know of around here, handled them with ease. could have gone to sleep knowing it would have gotten me to the other end in safety.
Dealer has a second hand HSE coming in on monday so will take a looka t that and go from there. The HSE has everthing on it including the DVD package, door rubbers, light guards and front nudge bar. i dont think i like the nudge bar, i like the look of the clean front end. i have been told the bumper has to be drilled to fit the nudgebar. does anyone know how big or ugly the holes are?i was thinking of grommeting the holes as the car is Bonati grey it may not show up too much.
Great car and missing it greatly now. i got out of that and into my Lotus Exige, quite a difference in road presence i can tell you!!

As part of the deal ask the dealer to remove the nudge bar plus make good so there is no sign of it being fitted in the first place and see what their reaction is. To make good they will then have to replace bumper or fill the holes, in either case they will have to paint the centre section of the bumper.

Have asked the dealer what its like to remove it and he just informed me that there would be holes. i will offer £1000 less than asking and keep the nudge bar and sort it out myself i think. see what he says then. i am a cash buyer so should be able to haggle a fair amount.

You can always colour co-ordinate the mnudgebar with the rest of the vehicle Wink

Well had the call from the dealer, the vehicle is all ready to collect tomorrow morning. cant wait!! have joined GLASS and hope to get onto wayfinder to find some green lanes here in Devon to get it muddy this weekend.
