My first MOT
Took my car in today for pre warranty expiry check and its first MOT .
I had a couple of issues , one being a faulty park distance sensor on the front and a transmission shunt .
Car failed on both trackrods and N/S/F lower suspension ball joint .
Dealers then replaced both track rods , re-aligned tracking , fitted 2 lower balljoints , fitted PDC sensor and found propshaft to be knackard ..so changed that aswell .
£54 lighter for the mot and it now drives like new again ..just when im thinking of selling
Big thanks to Stratstones Bury again ...nice to see you all again
Some nice new bits
Not bad ..first time iv had any sort of ball joints / steering bits replaced in 110,857 miles G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

OK, so there's me thinking that's not too impressive for under 3 years old... but OK, at 110,000 miles perhaps a little wear is allowable!

Glad to hear it didnt need much for MOT wiggs
Mine had an advisory on n/s track rod and top bushes having slight play so i replaced them as they are not to expensive
Are you keeping it now or getting a D4?
Ive never dreamed of keeping any of my cars above 100,000Miles but the D3 seems reliable upto very high mileages aslong as its maintained well

Car failed on both trackrods and N/S/F lower suspension ball joint .
Mine failed on one trackrod N/S and N/S/F ball joint - Shukers replaced both sides, along with the Servo and vacuum pump as they found oil in the vacuum pipe, plus packing out the rear anti roll bushes, a couple of rattles and a tweeter problem.
