First impressions of my my13

Picked it up today.

Orkney and ebony with piano black inserts

100 mile drive back

SUPERB Thumbs Up

Slight irritation when I got back home.

Put in front rubber mats , no issue. Back ones are different fixings from previous my10 Big Cry

They will do for now but will have to get correct ones in time

Car came with Luxury LR mats - will put these up for sale when I can take picture as no good for me. Along with the ipod cable from my my10 as Bluetooth music from phone on information system works suburb

Hatchbag will be fitted tomorrow.
 D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

Dave - ah, didn't know that about the fixings . Doesn't it leave holes ?

DaveT. They are black and fronts have Land Rover in white. Backs, just plain black.

I'll try and get some pics tomorrow

I also got a new MY 13 HSE Lux with the Luxury mats. Do your rears actually fit on the fixings?
I noticed mine hadn't been pushed through the hole in the mats in the rear (fronts were fine). Tried
to do it myself... Impossible.. the metal ringed hole is too small for the fittings on the carpet! LR
quality control strikes again! Will be asking the dealer to sort when I go to pick up the remote control
for the Rear Entertainment (which was missing from the car)! Rolling Eyes

The carpets fitted with the car all fitted in correctly. They have a central lug to go over and only cover the two sides,,
Not the central tunnel like the rubber ones

My issue is my rubber mats off my MY10 have side holes by the doors and one on the inside as they overlap for the central piece

Not explaining it very well but from my D3 to MY10 D4 they swapped over without issue

Nick I was just about to buy a set of mats from Buelibeast (MY12) that have the centre hole, are you saying that the MY13 are different again?

Robbie,

Certainly in mine (1 day old) the fixings for the Rear Mats are offset toward the centre of the car not in the middle of the Mat.

Thanks guys. At the moment I am draping my D3 mats over the revised mounting points and it looks like the only way of getting a set that fit is direct with LR.

I guess they move the fixings around to stop people like me from moving them from car-to-car. Evil or Very Mad

Hello all....new Disco4 owner as of today...just arrived....my first time.....soooooo excited....erhem....course not...it's just another car (to wife)

And me too...damned annoyed. Just bought Landrover rubber mats off ebay - Was very careful to go for as new as possible having asked previous owner if his was a D4 (yes) fronts fit perfectly but back row doesn't have the same fixing points - WHAAAAT!!! These are from a car that is only a few months old!!! Evil or Very Mad
