No need to make digs about essential travel. You might be right but for all we know he/they work for the NHS and previous car broke down etc. Be nice during these tough times.

firstly i like to think the remark about essential journeys was said in jest . i am a key worker but i do not put myself on the same level as NHS workers i drive a truck and deliver things that are used to help in the supply chain . the car was local to me about 20 miles away . it was ordered and a deposit paid just before the lockdown started otherwise i would have waited to find one . it will be used by my wife who has to care for my elderly parents both well into their 80s . thanks for all your replies hope that clears up any misunderstandings and i havent offended anyone .

Luckily we’re usually not the “if you haven’t offended/annoyed/upset (or any combo of the aforementioned) anyone you haven’t tried hard enough” kind of site. Apart from the politics section. There it’s gloves mode = off.

Welcome Paul. I'd agree it's one of the most helpful non judgemental forums I've used. There are lots of key workers, not just NHS, and lots of trips that are essential.
Like the car same colour scheme as mine, not what I'd normally have gone for, I was looking for a black one, but now I love it.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey
Discovery 3 s 2005 Auto Bonatti Grey Gone
Discovery 3 SE 2005 Manual Zambezi Silver Gone
Range Rover Sport HSE 2006 Black
