That's very concerning and disappointing. Surely that's what the 90 day wear and tear clause is designed for. Even if they waive it (as they did with me) in doing so, they are accepting that there is nothign wrong with the car at the time the cover starts? Or if they do make you adhere to it, they are giving themselves 90 days to go past that point.
Seems they're capable of playing silly b s like WD did with me then.
FWIW they have finally paid my claim into my bank in the last week.D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

The payment issue was something else that concerned me tbh. Let's face it, most of us would pay for a £700-£900 suspension bill using a credit card. If these warranty companies don't reimburse you within 30 days, will they cover the interest too???? I doubt it very much!Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Did they do the 'free' Healthcheck? - anything called out?
They didn't. I was told I didn't need it and have an email from the salesperson saying

Please ignore any email regarding the Healthcheck I have cancelled this from my end.

I tried to cancel my Healthcheck as couldn't be bothered with the hassle but they wouldn't let me - it was actually quite painless in the end - booked into local Halfords on Saturday - I rocked up at 08.30 so would be first in queue, home again by 09.30, no points raised.
All suspension checked - watched the guy do it - same as MOT

Re suspension claim Upper arms & wishbones
We’re these faults noted on the last MOT as an advisory by any chance

I just phoned them and they told me a healthcheck wouldn't identify warn/faulty bushes anyway!!!!Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Not the way the guy did mine - on a ramp, weight off suspension, big leverage bar to test for play
He actually commented on the new front arms I had fitted about a year ago, and new brake pipes - basically it was an MOT

They allowed me to skip the health check as I sent them a scan of the 7 year service and mot that had just been done that month, also I was coming from another warranty (WD) which I'd had for two years
Coincidentally my front arms were done as part of the service as they were worn
It's a good point about the credit card and one to watch especially if you're close to cycle date. I pay mine off every month, but others could get caught out.D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Warranty Direct has paid for the three suspension arms which have been replaced due to wear and tear, as well as both front wheel bearings, again wear and tear.

I haven't had a claim from WD for the D4 (positively reliable - now I've blown it) but for the D3 claims they paid out for usually resulted in a cheque through the post on less than a week.
