| Fire extinguisher - installation price |

I have just had a quote from my dealer for the standard LR 1kg fire extinguisher (KDB500010). For the extinguisher he wants €108,54 (incl. VAT, something over £60). The price for the installation surprised me, though, €103,50, i.e. about the same as the gear itself.
I understood that the fire extinguisher fits to the front passenger seat somehow and had imagined that it was just a matter of bolting the bracket on, presumably to some already prepared mounting points. Is there more to it? Does the installation price seem reasonable? Or is it a job I can easily do myself?

It involves cutting a couple of slits in the carpet in front of the passenger seat, inserting a couple of rivnuts and bolting the bracket into these, 15 minutes work maximum The End

Probbaly now the ideal place for one, but in preperation for Rochingham last Sunday, I bought a £15 pound one, and it fits just nicely in one of the rear cubby holes. ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........
