Martin - I have 11 'under 7Mb' .pdf files to upload with instructions on the DIY parking heater timer modifications.
Obviously I couldn't add the whole 22Mb .pdf file as one document but I have split it into chunks not exceeding 7Mb. Somehow though I can't upload anything bigger than about 2Mb - Am I really going to have to split this into 52 1-page pdf files to get it to upload? Or is there another issue?
Tips please?
Thanks! Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Transgenic tomato anyone?

Stapldm, you've obviously got time on your hands whilst you're away....
Can't you host them externally somewhere? Bodsys Brake Bible

Either host them externally yourself and send me the links or e-mail them to me (as 11 separate e-mails please!) and I'll host them on DISCO3 but outside of your personal gallery space to save you losing a big chunk of your allocation.
The reason the gallery appears to reject them is not because they are over 2MB and there's a limit set at that (there is a limit, but it's much higher) but because your connection times out before it manages to upload all 7MB. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Thanks Martin, I'll start sending them by email as I don't think I have anywhere for hosting (must look into that...)
I can't believe a mere 22Mb would scare you though...I can zip it if you like? (21.8Mb)
Will they be editable/replacable by me for when people find things that need changing/improving, or will I need to post changes through you again?
Thanks! Dr. Ian Malcolm:

OK, Egg, face, excellent coverage etc. I re-ran the compress picture feature in word to see if I could tighten up the file size.
Looks like first time around it couldn't be bothered to run at all - total document size this time down from 77Mb original doc to 1.4Mb pdf.
Sorry for the hassle Martin, looks like I goofed it somehow the first time around.
All completed at last Dr. Ian Malcolm:
