Thought I'd use the remote to start the FHB this morning for a nice toasty interior but NOTHING
The LED on the remote just flashes fast red
The FHB fires up & works fine using the timer, I've just tested it, but not via the remote
Any ideas??? Wot's that in Old Money

Lift the bonnet and look to the right hand side for the slim looking fuse box. Open the lid and it is the 5amp fuse at the back right hand side, pull this out and replace but hold the OFF button down on the fob once the fuse is in. The red LED will light for about 2 seconds. Try the on button now and it should behave as normal i.e light for a second or two then flash every few seconds. Have you had the battery disconnect before you experienced any problems? I haven't tried mine yet but this cold snap might be the answer. The battery is new but i tok it out to stop the gradual discharge as the manual advises.
Ent - does that mean i now need to pair it again? Is this something you have to do every time you change the battery?

I don't know if this is going to be the case, I've just installed the remote FBH kit so the pairing issue is fresh in my mind. I'd say you would only have to re-pair the remote if you lose power to the reciever(the module permanent fitted to the D4) Club Exped trailer

The Red LED i think indicates a issue with the remote, ENT and i found even if the remote is not paired it will still flash green when the ON button is pressed.
Have you had the remote working before ? or is this its first outing ?

Heyloft - on the pairing, do you need to have the ignition "On" while pulling the fuse ? Thanks
