I felt the pain but I was lucky!!!
Hi friends...3 months ago, driving my 2007 Disco 3..A car that I always wanted and finally after ..Believe it or not...many years saving money I was able to buy...The very painful oil pump failure hit me and you know how painful that is..well I was told by a mechanic to be ready for an expensive repair..I was demolished, without work because of the covid 19 pandemic, I'm a tour guide here in Costa Rica and tourism is dead I was very afraid of an engine repair of a car that I'm still learning about and getting use to...To make a long story short and again Believe me or not, I got lots of help from Jaguar - Land Rover Costa Rica and they are going to send my Disco 3 back home running again...Broken oil pump yes and a damage camshaft plus new water pump just in case and timing belt and components...no internal damage...and total repair cost of about $4000..Thanks to a discount I got for parts and mechanics work..I know prices in Costa Rica will sound crazy for some of you, but Discos here are very very expensive..One like mine a 2007 HSE goes for about 14000 to 15000 American Dollars and engine repairs can be easily 7 to 8 thousand ..I just wanted ;as a new member here to express how happy I'm to know that my Disco 3 is alive and coming home in two more days..I didn't know about the oil pump failure problem until It happened and read about it here..So I will give it another try and see if Land Rover stays as my dream vehicle or a nightmare..I will continue to get tips and advice from all of you and hopefully prevent another major problem before it happens...Cheers and greetings from Costa Rica..Stay safe and healthy.

I think it is Buck Blue..I will double check as soon as I get it back..Yes colors seem to change a little here...only 10 degrees south from the equator...How many tones of blue are there for 2007 Discos?..Gosh that sounded like a bad movie.."Fifty shades of blue"

Buckingham blue is a much darker in my opinion
You should be able to see the color code and name on the slam panel in the engine compartment.

LandiJ:
You certainly are lucky, not like Mrs O, her Mini will never come back
Took all of 10minutes to look like this.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

You are definitely right..I was not able to get my Disco today and check the color chart because of driving restrictions due to the pandemic. But looks like you are right..Cairns blue.
