FBH remote from standard key fob

Has anybody ever heard of some sort of RF module that was designed to operate the FBH? It is installed under the bonnet and could be operated using your normal LR key fob? I was talking to a chap today who said it was discontinued as it picked up to much interference and the FBH was being fired up by accident. I dont know if the FFRR has a similar set up but any feed back would be welcome. Club Exped trailer

the FFRR one is the Webasto Telestart remote, not integrated into the LR keyfob

Webasto T80 Telestart is the one, not cheap though. FFRR's come with them The End

just read your thread today - sometimes a thread comes along and stops you dead in your tracks and you have to put finger to keypad.......................

I've been onto Webasco this very day regarding remote control of their FBH fitted to the D3.
Webasco offer a kit to stimulate the FBH manually (oh err matron) but because of a clash between the remote option and the D3's complex electronics it is available remotely for every LR but the D3.

The problem I have is that Doris will never want to go to the vehicle on a cold morning to turn on the pre-heater as offered by the semi 'official' Landrover (Wesbasco) system on offer. Timers are a waste of time for her.
Landrover - we know that you are listening - why didn't you go that extra yard to offer this option on a £41,000.00 vehicle. Little development outlay (maybe a couple of days r +d) for an edge on the competetion....Brummie muppets......... listen to your customers - first lesson on day one of business school.

P.S. Ent there is a solution to the problem somewhere on this site by mortals greater than us and if I could remember where it is I would put this bottle of wine away.
