FBH
I have a 2014 SE Tech Disco 4 which has a FBH fitted but no way of programming it from the dash. Can it be activated somehow or is it set up by the factory during manufacture on this model. I had a Disco 4 HSE before that could be programmed.

Hi Arch
I’ve just been trying to find out the exact same info,
Apparently it’s a fully automatic system that works when all the conditions are right and needs little intervention but I’d like to be able to turn it on and warm the car up before I venture out in - temperatures.
according to LR main dealer Duckworths all that needs to be done is to have the Climate Timer enabled in the car configuration file, (CCF) I’m looking for somebody local that can do it but the Indy’s that I’ve spoken to have no experience of doing this, might ask Disco Mikey in Dundee and take a trip up and get him to do it.
I was thinking of buying the IID tool and doing it myself but it’s around £405 which is out of my budget at the moment and I’m not great on the electrical stuff like this, I’d probably bu88er something up in the process so best left to the experts I think.
There is an additional LR remote which operates the FBH that can be purchased for around £120 but again the local Indy doesent know if anything else is needed and neither do I so I’m still working on this.
I’ve read that Bodsey can fit a FBH Kit that’s a retro fit but he’s down south, seems quite a good Kit if it could be fitted as a DIY project, don’t know how it would affect my LR warranty tho.
As a last resort could approach Land Rover in Cupar and ask them for a quote but don’t have a spare arm or leg I can sell
thought I’d share what info I have so far, possibly other more experienced Disco guys on the forum might have some more info to help us both.
Cheers

I've got a 64 plate SE Tech and I've had the FBH come on in the mornings now, just gotta save a bit more cash up after buying tyres and mot time and going to get one of the forum guys to enable 'timed climate' for me.
Can't run to a IID myself either at the moment!!D4 MY15 (64) SE Tech, Loire Blue

Don’t know if it’s possible or not, but I find that Remote Climate is much more useful to me than Timed Climate, but I don’t know if you can have Remote Climate without first having Timed Climate.

Was thinking along these lines but can’t establish yet if it’s only a remote that’s needed which is a simple purchase or what else lurks behind to make the remote work , will find out at some point, no doubt somebody on the forums got an answer?

Cheers D4-Russ
I like the looks of this Kit.
I see now, there’s a module with a receiver that gets the signal, thought there was more to it than just a remote, just need to see about getting the system enabled,
more that my Indy specialist could tell me
Another step forward now

Ahh, just away to put in an order, wonder if there’s a problem, will speak to Bodsy and clarify might be a hitch somewhere or a glitch even

No worries, I've been researching for a while now about this and a rear view camera!
By all accounts the plug for the module is there behind the rear offside boot panel, just needs that kit fitting and enabling, oh and some money D4 MY15 (64) SE Tech, Loire Blue

Cheers, oddly enough I’m also investigating fitting a rear view camera, we had a loan of an HSE while ours was in for some work, boss lady said the camera was great “Now I can see what to aim at and what I’m about to hit without turning round”

Haha! Mine said something very similar! She's getting better at reversing it now but a camera is still on the cards next year.D4 MY15 (64) SE Tech, Loire Blue
