Anyone suffered a faulty rear passenger door lock. The button inside the door feels stiff is it worth stripping and greasing or is it another cheap Landrover part that fails early.

Typically it is the actuator so almost all replace the lock mechanism. A few adventurous types strip the lock actuator and replace the solenoid.

It is so common there is a detailed how-to wiki for the D3 as it is a DIY job to change. The door cards are a little different for the D4 but essentially the job is the same.
