I have covered 7,500 miles in my 63 plate HSE black edition. I noticed the ride on the front suspension has become lumpy. I thought maybe the suspension had stuck in access height.Took it too LR service centre and they said it would be the bushes. Is this a common fault?.Also service light came on today and I only bought the car in november. It should not come on untill its 12 months old or 16,000 miles. I have been told to ignore the warning light and book it in in october. The car also has an annoying rattle which comes from the interior roof lights. Are these faults common or have I just been unlucky with the car. PS the drivers seat moves into access position even when the setting on the steering wheel is not in auto. I was told to change the key to the spare one.

Bushes should last nearer 75,000 not 7,500
Service indicator should have been checked as part of PDI & there should be no rattles from roof.
Telling you to ignore light is just
telling you to swap to spare key is even more
I would expect 'sorry to hear that sir, please book it in & we will sort it'
If it were me, I would be hot footing it back to dealer & telling 'em to get it sorted. Cheers Ian

I bought the car from stratstones teeside but there is a service centre about 15 mins down the road which I am taking it too. I found the salesman who sold me the car didnt even bother to reply to my last e mail.I had faulty wind screen wipers which were not clearing the rain off leaving large wet areas with wipers on. I was told by main dealer it was tree sap and they cleaned the wind screen. As the car had not been near a tree the fault was still there. The local service centre changed the blades straight away and found they were faulty. After that I had no faith in stratstones teeside. Thanks for the reply.
