Could be a battery voltage issue.

Hi Chris

I had the terrain response and HDC errors on start up when it turned colder a few weeks ago (along with issues getting it to start when it was properly cold). I replaced the battery and all sorted Thumbs Up

I'd test out the battery first to see if you need to return it under warranty. If the battery itself is ok I'd look into whether there's something that's stopping the battery getting a consistent proper charge. Obviously that would mean testing the alternator out and checking the aux belt for issues. If that doesn't work it's probably beyond my technical understanding but it certainly sounds like a battery voltage issue to me.

Hope you find the culprit soon.

Simon
