Faults found with new IID BT will not clear |
|
Hi all
New to this, only just bought my IID BT,have checked for faults and there were quite a few.
cleared them and re scanned but the following will not clear, some help would be appreciated.
Body Control
B1B02-28 (2F) Low frequency coil- general signal failure-signal bias is out of range\zero adjustment failure.
B1B91-3A (2F) Seat tilt motor speed \ position sensor frequency modulation\pulse width mod failure-incorrect, has too many pulses.
B1C26-3A (2F) Pedal motor feedback circuit- freq mod\pulse width mod failure- incorrect, has too many pulses.
B1C32-13 (2F) Steering column tilt solenoid- general electrical failure- circuit open.
B1C34-13 (2F) Steering column telescopic solenoid- general electrical failure- circuit open.
B1C57-14 (2F) Passive start ignition relay coil circuit- general electrical failure, circuit short to ground or open.
Engine
P0405-00 (2E) Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A- circuit low.
Traffic
Antenna circuit - general electrical failure- circuit current below threshold.
As far as the EGR is concerned, is booked in for Wednesday to have them blanked.
Is there anything else i should be concerned with if so what do i need to do.
Hope someone can assist me in this

I would just operate all of these items a few times, then check again. Also, a hard-reset won't hurt

The BCM codes are present in almost all cars. As long as they work, ignore them
EGRs need blanked. Fault code will always be present
TMC code occurs when the signal is poor. TMC is anyway My D3 Build Thread

Hi
is the hard reset the same on D3 as d4 (above link refers to d4) aand is it really relatively risk free?
Thanks

Hi, I’m relatively new to all this myself BUT having invested in the IUD TOOL, I have had some very interesting and positive results maybe worth trying this FIRST.
(I had many of the code you list, but after doing the following I only have a few left! -my EAS was all over the place but once I did the following it worked perfectly.
1. Plug in IID TOOL sand for faults, once identified take a screenshot/picture of them for reference.
2. Clear the faults.
3 navigate to the reset option (I think this just restores the car to ‘factory settings’
4. Navigate to suspension/tight tolerance mode’ and enable it.
5. Navigate to suspension/calibration/guided calibration.
6. Adjust each wheel in turn by 1
7. Once all 4 are done ‘apply’
8. navigate to suspension/normal tolerance and activate it.
Turn car off, remove IUD TOOL and go for a 10 minute drive, once done plug in IID TOOL and re-scan for faults… hopefully most will have ‘gone’ worked for me 100% and mine was saying EGR needed replacing ride height sensors were questionable, EAS compressor was faulty, to the point every time I approach 40mph my car dropped to bump stops!!!
Now only codes present are seat tilt issue and some issue with the radio earth!
Hope it helps…

If it hasn't already been done it's probably worth running the BCM update (will allow you to set clock on the dash and three flash indicators etc) BUT make sure your battery is fully charged before hand or you have the car on a charger... and be prepared for it to do some weird things when it is resetting... frightened the bejesus out of me first time I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
