Faultmate work in Glasgow area - 21st October

I will be attending the SCAM at the Black Bear, Uddingston on Monday 21st for anyone needing any Faultmate work done.

All the usual stuff can be done:

3 Flash Indicators
Clock on Dash
4x4 Info
Sat Nav on the Move
Bluetooth Module updates
Gearbox/Transfer box software and reset adaptive values

Please bear in mind that SNOTM is best part of a 2 hour software download, and Bluetooth takes a fair while too. The car needs to be hooked up to a battery charger, so not really practical to be doing in a pub car park Laughing
Planning on being around Glasgow all day, so can come to your home, and do it there Thumbs Up

PM me if you are interested in anything

If you can't make it on the 21st, PM me again, and we can arrange another day and time that suits Thumbs Up

Gearbox is auto only, transfer box can be done on auto or manual Thumbs Up

Quote:
Transmission ECU:

Clear Adaptions Values

Gear shifting time tends to increase as internal components of a transmission wear out. This has a
negative effect on the brake clutches. The transmission ECU will adapt to counteract the effect of wear
and improve shifting.
This routine resets the adaption statistics back to factory default. After the adaption is cleared, the
transmission ECU will analyze shifting behaviors using sensors readings and compensate accordingly.

Similar idea for the transfer box Thumbs Up

Mikey

This is from the "can the milage reading be adjusted" thread, is this right?

If you have access to a diagnostic tool such as a Faultmate MSV2 or similar, you can adjust the % variations for fuel and speed independently, so yes, it can be done in software.
