fault codes, dealer briefings, recall numbers etc
hi
my d3 is off to the stealers this week, to (I hope) have a new drivers seat base, the slight play in the front wheels under acceleration, the uneven run on start up when cold looked at
all these issues i felt on much stronger ground with the dealer when discussing them, because of the outstanding advice and discussion on this forum
can i suggest we have a sticky, where, when members find out the dealer briefing/ fault code (or whatever these things are called!!!) is added to as new ones become known?
apologies if this is elsewhere on the site...if it is then pls feel free to point me in the right direction
carl

Nope, its a resource provided to the public (quite bravely I think) on a fee paid basis.
Dealers will get free access of course
The Issues section of the forum covers common problems encountered from day 1 of the launch but must have been either built out during the 4 years of production or a pretty well known by good dealers who will correct under warranty or during regular services.

ISTR that the one day cover does not have TSBs, anyone know. If it does might be worth £8 and a day printing off anything of interest.

What ? LR dealers have to pay for LR tech information on GTR ?
That would be very strange.

dealers have no choice in paying the yearly subs for full access, they access it via their intranet system, they also pay for their dealer management systems, EPQR system, etc etc. nothing comes free.
If you pay for one day's access (to all models) you get access to everything on the site.
If you pay for one model/year then you only get access to that model/year info, TSB's covering that model year are included.
HTH

WoW I can understand dealers have to pay for the equipment but paying for the information too is a bit tight wad on LR part.
