External A-trim removal
Hey Guys,
Has anyone removed the black external A-trim at the frontscreen.
I would like to run down my cables for the roofrack lights behind them but I would like to see how and where they are fixed before breaking these things.

Just pull it away from the body, starting at the top. The white plastic clips should be replaced when you re-fit it through, otherwise the trim will probably come off at speed.Previously:

Deff new clips if you are runing cables down it

When you pull the trim off the clips will look OK, but if you re-use them it will come as a big surprise as the trim comes off at about 90 mph, usually when there is a strong cross wind or turbulence from a lorry! It is just held on by the bottom section that is trapped by the bonnet, but the distraction is not what you need when travelling at that speed It's happened to a few of us now.Previously:
