My 59 plate XS will have it's third birthday next week. I looked at swapping it but wasn't that inspired by the figures and I'm quite happy with the vehicle so plan to keep it another year or so. It's got 60000 miles on it.
Does anyone have experience with extended warranties? I've just looked on the Warranty Direct website and they are quoting £900 for 12 months warranty using franchised dealers for any work.
Are they straightforward to deal with and are they sensible about paying out? It seems like quite a lot of money anyway (although I know when things go wrong it can quickly add up) but it would really annoy me to pay it and then have trouble getting them to pay up if things went wrong.
Any thoughts or suggestions welcome! 2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony

Personally, I wouldn't bother again after having several claims rejected by a different warranty company, save the money and it would need to be something big to loose out. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Check with local dealers (especially if you bought the car from one of them) as some of them have group deals with warranty companies that can be very good value
