extended ride height message

Please could someone advise why I would be getting 'extended ride height return to normal height when obstacle cleared' message. It has only happened when car is stationary and in neutral (auto box). The suspension has not lifted when message appears and the car lowers and lifts as normal on the switch. Any answers would be appreciated as we are towing caravan to Driffield at weekend and can't get to dealers 'til next week. Hoping I don't end up on the bump stops at weekend! Thanks

Faulty height sensor or possibly just needs calibrating. Or possible wire corrosion somewhere.
