I put a new piston in one of my rear ones,
the only advice I can give is that they are a real tight fit and it has to be perfectly square on, it's a fiddly job but with perseverance, it should go in.

the risk now is that if it isn't square you could have damaged the rubber seal, piston or calliper depending on how much force you used with the clamp

hope this is of some use

hi

don’t know if it’s any use to u , but in the past i’ve used a cars foot pump, atttached it to the bleed nipple so u can slowly raise the pressure to push the piston back out Thumbs Up

i also put a very small smear of brake fluid on the piston to just aid it going into the caliper, then used some brake cleaner to ensure the caliper was clean and no grease from my hands were left on it

hope that may help a little

Brake calliper rewind tools can be had for cheap nowadays and these ensure the piston goes back true and much easier than struggling Thumbs Up

Cheers for all the advise
I am thinking get a new bleed nipple pop the piston out ,refit and bleed if the nipple snaps I'll bench drill it out and refit the piston
Sounds like a plan let you all know how it goes
