I noticed that BCB's rack on ebay has an extra cross member near the front. Anyone know who makes these racks? Quite fancy the ability to carry long bits of wood on top of the basket.

Someone once told me that my extra cross member is just a standard LR bar from a D1 or D2.

Mines the same, I believe it's a standard fit on the G4 racks but not the dealer supplied expo rack. They were to strengthen the front of the rack when ratchet straps were used. Not sure if they were supplied purely for the G4 rack or were as said, from the D1-2. I can make a call tomorrow and ask.
