Which is less painfull - having all the big expense in same month, or spreading it out through the year?

To be fair this year is the exception as the Velars service is every 2 years. I prefer it in one month, as I stash cash away at the end of each month so by the time January comes everything is paid for.

The wife had her credit cards pinched a while back she came home and told me and i logged on to check if anything was happening!! Just then we got a call from the card company saying they had noticed some unusual activity on the cards and asked did i want to cancel them to which i replied no.

I got off the phone and the wife asked why i didn't cancel them to which i replied its ok i checked online and they are spending less than you!!!!!
Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

Got mine last week. Not what I expected tbh. They sent the smaller one. Messaged several times and just got the usual sorry out of stock,Do you want $3 refund? Told them to shove it. Have built it though.

And to cheer myself up from the lack of time it took me to build it just ordered the new Defender. Managed to find one in dark green instead of the light green most of them are 👍

Will get some pics up when it is built.

I fund the kids Help to buy ISAs. Might get rid of hem quicker if I play my cards right.

Today, I’ve managed to get scolded over putting too much money in and got a cheque for this over amount back. Never been chastised for paying too much money into a bank. Rolling Eyes

Censored Students! If it ended there I’d be fine, but no, his mother mother took him round the shops for food and clothes this weekend. She even paid for his designer drink! Think the bill was nearly £700. He could survive a nuclear holocaust on the amount she got him. I don’t even argue now. Rolling Eyes

Oh we have one of those ! Looking at it as an investment, for I pray that his nautical studies pay off and the Mrs and I will get some heavily discounted holidays on cruise ships Laughing

You’re lucky! The best I can hope for is he becomes financially independent. His sister is joining him on the gravy train next year.
